On completion of the course, participants will be able to understand ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and a State Safety Programme (SSP) and to facilitate safe cargo transportation, including dangerous goods. They could also identify how the State manages the safe transport of air cargo.
Participants could apply safety management principles to improve the safety performance of operations, evaluate an operator’s capability and to design a dangerous goods training programme that enables inspectors and managers to manage the safety of cargo transportation.
