Introduction to Aeronautical Information Management

This two-day course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to acquire and make use of international aeronautical information in the context of Air Traffic Control. All of the course materials are in accordance with ICAO licensing standards that apply to operational staff in discharging their duties in an aeronautical information centre.

 

Topics covered:

  • Integrated briefing: NOTAM and flight plans FPL
  • Concept, global implementation and expected benefits of AIM and its products 
  • Data format: AICM and AIXM
  • ICAO roadmap for the transition from AIS to AIM

MATF-approved Programme
