This five-day course provides participants with the basic knowledge of airport and especially passenger handling operations through classroom discussions and on-site observations. On completion of the course, participants will be able to identify the basic operations at the airport and basic passenger handling at the terminal. Participants will be able to familiarise themselves with the safety and security awareness in airport operations and basic customer services skills required at an airport terminal.

Eligible applicants may apply for refund of 80% of fees after completing this approved course, subject to a maximum of HKD30,000, under the Professional Training and Examination Refund Scheme (ProTERS) of Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF).
